Dr. Kristianne Macaraeg is originally from Virginia Beach and moved up north for dental school — where she also happened to meet her husband. She fell in love with this community and considers New Jersey her new home.
She earned her bachelor’s degree at Virginia Tech (Go Hokies!) and then received her dental degree from the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Kristianne continued on to complete specialty training in pediatric dentistry at the University of Pennsylvania and the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). Now, she is an active member of the American Dental Association and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
In her spare time, she loves baking pies and wearing a dinosaur costume — sometimes at the same time. She also loves training her new golden retriever puppy, Penny, spending time with her family and husband, and exploring new cities and towns for the best food finds.
If she could have one super power, it would be the ability to teleport. Dr. Kristianne loves to travel, and having the power to do so on demand would be amazing!
